How to donate a car to society for the blind

The Society for the Blind has been providing a full range of services for blind and partially sighted people in the Sacramento area, California., Since 1954. The Company offers training in Braille and mobility, as well as professional development and placement services employment for blind and partially sighted people. They also operate programs to help young and older adults. One way to help is to donate a car to the Society for the Blind. Donations are fully tax deductible, and you avoid the hassle of selling an old vehicle. Just follow the steps below to donate a car to the Society for the Blind.
Go to the Society for the Blind website (link at the end of this article is provided), where you can find more information and download the donation form. If you prefer, you can call toll free (800) 237-4460.
Complete the donation form. Necessary information includes the vehicle identification number and license tag number along with a description of the vehicle condition. You will have the title or proof of ownership.
Mail or fax the completed form to Car Program, LLC. The mailing address and fax number are provided on the donation form.
When contacted, arrange to have the car picked up. Normally this will be within four business days after formis donation received. The collection is free, and will be given a receipt and any other documents you need to take the tax deduction you are entitled when a car is donated to the Society for the Blind.
